I started off writing this post with some philosophy in mind about how the people we choose to surround ourselves with says a lot about who we are, but I couldn’t find enough elegant words to make an attractive full post about it, so instead, let’s take some meaningful life quotes and edit them to be about burritos then look deeper.
“A burrito is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.”
This is very beautiful. It is suggesting that we take our time with our burritos and try to really experience them as opposed to gobbling it down strictly for sustenance. Remarkable.
“The most important thing is to enjoy your burrito – to be happy – it’s all that matters.”
Well… This is basically the same as the last quote, but with different words. Hang on. Epiphanic moment happening right now. Whoa. What if, not only are these two burrito quotes basically the same thing written differently, but any two things in this universe are the same thing, written differently? BRB, starting a religion.
Nevermind, yoga stole my idea a few hundred years ago already I guess. Moving on.
“The great use of a burrito is to spend it for something that will outlast it.”
This one doesn’t seem to make any sense at first glance, but like anything in this world, if you look at it long enough, you can make up something meaningful about it. Check it out. Trade your burrito for another burrito with more preservatives in it. One step closer to immortality. Or an upset stomach.
Well, that was fun. Seeya next time?
